Chris Raven Photography

It all started at the age of 14 when my Father purchased a 35mm SLR camera, a Minolta Dynax 600si. Seeing my Father with a camera made me want to have a go at Photography, so I did.
I purchased a 35mm SLR Minolta Dynax 500si and loved it to bits, I took it everywhere with me taking pictures of whatever interested me and what I thought would make a good picture.
After using 35mm cameras for 2 years, I decided to take the step to Digital Photography due to digital being more cost effective. I moved onto a Pentax K100d and never regret making the leap to digital. Due to a digital camera not costing anything everytime you press the shutter I could really experiment with my camera and my creativity giving me great oppertunities to learn more and more about photography.
After owning the Pentax for another 2 years I decided it was about time to upgrade to some serious kit. So back in May 2008 I purchased a Canon EOS 40d plus the 70-200 f2.8 IS USM lens, and I must say it is fantastic and is well worth the money!
I am currently working as a Full Time Falconer at:

So there you go, a little bit about myself...
I also would like to say that without the support of all my friends and family I would not be where I am today, and of which I am extremely grateful of.
